The incumbent Governor of Bayelsa State and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Douye Diri, has been declared the winner of the State governorship election held last Saturday.

Two street cleaners were killed on Monday by an unidentified driver attempting to escape a raid by officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) at the Charlie Boy bus stop via Oshodi- Gbagada expressway in Lagos State.
