It has been revealed that ex-Chelsea and current Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois fathered a secret lovechild with a married former neighbour while still with Chelsea Football Club.
According to the Daily Star the ex-Chelsea star started seeing Elsa Izac weeks after he moved in with his then-girlfriend Marta Dominguez.
Their romance blossomed after the mother-of-four, who lived next door, took in parcels for him.
Fashion designer Elsa who has now split from her banker husband allegedly enjoyed trysts with the Belgium international, 27, including romps in the Chelsea team hotel before matches.
But when she got pregnant, Elsa claims he told her to get an abortion if she wanted to move to Spain with him the following year. He joined Real Madrid for £38million in August last year.
Ex-model Elsa took their son Enzo – born in September 2017 – to visit Courtois. But the womanising goalie has since cut ties with the lad and doesn’t send him birthday or Christmas cards. Elsa is bringing him up as a single parent in Wimbledon, south London.
A pal said: “She wants him to acknowledge Enzo is his son publicly. He had never denied to her that he is the father.”
Describing how the pair met, the friend said: “If ever Elsa had Thibaut’s parcels, he would come and ring the bell to say thank you. She thought he was so polite. Then he would ask her for coffee, and she thought, ‘Why not?’
“Then one day she noticed the way he was looking at her. Marta Dominguez, his girlfriend, was pregnant at the time. Elsa did not appreciate it.
“He looked like he wanted something from her, physical not emotional.”
But the pair started swapping messages and she started having feelings for him. Courtois then moved out of the £3million six-bedroom house in Wimbledon next door to Elsa, and Elsa left her husband Jan Francois, who she is now divorcing. “
They started seeing each other in secret,” the pal added. She went to the hotel the night before Chelsea games. She had another room on another floor. That is how they saw each other. They did that eight or 10 times.”
But the pal added: “They did not plan to have a baby but she was planning on going to Madrid with him.
“She told him she was pregnant. He was saying it wasn’t good for his career and people are going to find out.
“He asked her to have an abortion. She told him she was not going to do that. Then he told her she was free to see somebody else if she wanted to.
“But he didn’t say he didn’t want to see her anymore.
“Elsa felt like he wanted just a fling. It was just awful. They broke up when she was five months pregnant. He gave her a choice. She had to choose between the baby and him.”
The Daily Star Sunday tried to contact Courtois, who has two children with Marta.
