Nigeria/England: Gernot Rohr Not Confident Of Eagles’ World Cup Readiness

Last night, Nigeria’s Super Eagles played a friendly match at the Wembley Stadium in London against England and were defeated 2 – 1 ahead of the 2018 FIFA world cup that kick off in Russi aon June 14th.

After the game, Coach  Gernot Rohr said the team still has a lot of work to do before the tournament begins in two weeks.

 

In his words, ‘this game shows we still have a lot of work to do to be ready for the World Cup. We have to make the best use of the 2 weeks left before our first game in Russia. It’s time to focus..no distractions’.
