Serena Williams goes topless for Breast Cancer Awareness campaign

The tennis ace was seen cupping her breasts in a clip to encourage women to get regular check-ups

SERENA Williams has been seen going topless and singing classic tune I Touch Myself in a new Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.

The tennis champ looked stunning in the video which she posted to Instagram.

Serena, 37, stars in the new campaign to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is shown cupping her breasts as she sings The Divinyls’ track for the camera.

She wrote alongside the post: “This Breast Cancer Awareness Month I’ve recorded a version of The Divinyls global hit ‘I Touch Myself’ to remind women to self-check regularly.

She added: “Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colors, all around the world.

“Early detection is key - it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that.”

The music video is part of the I Touch Myself Project which was created in honor of late Divinyls frontwoman Chrissy Amphlett, who passed away in 2011 after a battle with breast cancer.

Serena’s fans loved the post and spotted her singing talent, too.

One wrote: “Lady can sing, too? “

Another commented:“Beautiful and very tasteful for a great cause my sister has breast cancer.”

While a third added: “Love it. I didn’t know you were a talented singer on top of it all.”

It comes after the tennis champ said she texted Meghan Markle after her recent US Open outburst.

She hit out an an umpire who accused her of being coached from the sidelines during her US Open defeat to Naomi Osaka.

Speaking to Australian news program The Sunday Project about Meghan, three days after her antics caused controversy, Serena said: “We were actually just texting each other this morning.

“We have known each other for a long time, but we really kind of are relying on each other a lot recently.”

Serena and her husband Alexis Ohania were among the chosen guests at Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in May, and the athlete spoke of the special day in the interview.

She said: “To have such a monumental moment in England, nonetheless of all the places, I felt like we were literally watching history. I feel like in a few years we are going to look back at that moment and it’s going to be so historic. It’s going to be something that people never forget.”
