Man Beats SARS Officer For Demanding Bribe In Lagos

An aggrieved man has given a bribe-seeking SARS officer the beating for his life in Lagos.

The incident happened, yesterday, at Ikosi, Ketu. According to reports, the man was driving a Jeep and was stopped by the officers, for searching.

He promptly obliged and nothing was found on him.

However, the officers insisted that he must follow them to their station and wanted to handcuff him, but the man declined and said he had done nothing wrong.

At that point, one of the officers said he should “settle” them. Again the driver said he wouldn’t and that was when they started harassing him and tore his cloth.

Angered by their antics, the victim got hold of one of them and beat him up. They eventually let him go, after passersby’s intervention.
