Netanyahu: “What we will do to our enemy over the next few days will echo for generations”, vows to turn Gaza into ‘rubble’

ISRAEL’S PM has vowed to turn Gaza into “rubble” as Hamas terrorists behead Israeli soldiers and threaten to kill civilian hostages.

It comes as Israel gathers its jets, tanks, and 300,000 troops to unleash revenge with a full-scale ground invasion of bomb-blitzed Gaza.

More than 1,200 people in Israel and Gaza have been killed since the Palestinian terrorist group stormed the border on Saturday and massacred hundreds in a surprise attack.

In retaliation, 600 Israeli warplanes have been relentlessly pummelling the Gaza Strip, while the state plans to launch a coordinated offensive within the “next 48 hours”, US officials reported.

And footage has recently emerged of Hamas savages beheading captive Israeli soldiers in horrific acts dubbed “worse than ISIS” by the IDF.

The armed wing of Hamas has tonight announced it will also begin executing one Israeli captive for every new civilian house bombed, without warning.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu likened the group to ISIS in a damning speech where he vowed to destroy them.

He said: “We have not seen such atrocities from ISIS. Children were executed and entire families were exterminated by Arab Terrorists.

“There were atrocities that I will not describe here. Hamas is ISIS and we will destroy it as the world defeated ISIS.

“At the end of the war, all our enemies will know it was a terrible mistake to attack Israel.

“What we will do to our enemy over the next few days will echo for generations. Any place from which Hamas operates will turn into rubble.”

A spokesperson for Hamas’ armed wing, Qassam Brigades, blamed the cruel escalation this evening on Israel’s air strikes in Gaza City.

They also threatened to “urgently broadcast with audio and video” the brutal killings of Israeli captives.

The heinous executions carried out with swords and knives mirror those seen online at the height of the Islamic State’s reign of terror in Iraq and Syria.

Israel Defence Forces (IDF) officials have said that at least 100 Israelis were taken hostage by Hamas militants during their multi-pronged attack.

IDF are amassing their 173,000 troops including 8,000 elite commandos, along with 300 tanks and plenty of heavy weaponry on the border with Gaza in the town of Sderot.

A further 300,000 reserve troops have been mobilised in an unprecedented move and sent south ahead of the possible invasion.

This morning, Israel imposed a “complete siege” on the area – including a sweeping ban on food and fuel moving into Gaza and an immediate cut-off of the water supply.

“There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said.

“We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly.”

The US is also moving several warships – including USS Gerald Ford – and aircraft to the Mediterranean after Joe Biden pledged Washington’s “rock solid” support to Tel Aviv.

“Once, the Jewish people were stateless. Once, the Jewish people were defenseless. No longer. Hamas will understand that by attacking us, they have made a mistake of historic proportions.

“We will exact a price that will be remembered by them and Israel’s other enemies for decades to come.

The savage attacks that Hamas perpetrated against innocent Israelis are mindboggling: slaughtering families in their homes, massacring hundreds of young people at an outdoor festival, and kidnapping scores of women, children, and elderly, even Holocaust survivors.

“Hamas terrorists bound, burned, and executed children. They are savages. Hamas is ISIS.”
