“I Am Without A Party” – Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has maintained that he has left the ruling party, APC and is yet to join a new political party.

Recall that on Monday, Governor Ortom announced he has left the APC after receiving a red card from members of the party in the state. His exit from the party was denied by the National leader of the party, Adams Oshiomole.

 

However, in a new interview, Governor Ortom maintained he has left APC and that he is yet to join another party.

The state capital is currently flooded with his campaign posters for the 2019 governorship on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ortom in the interview, said

“Like I said earlier, I have been given a red card and I’m without a party. Maybe those who want to sign me are behind the posters, but I am yet to join any party.”  he said
