The All Progressive Congress (APC) screening committee has disqualified the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, and two others from participating in the Edo Governorship election.

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has boosted that he will be victorious in the forthcoming All Progressive Congress (APC) primaries whether direct or indirect. He however called on his immediate predecessor and the National Chairman of the Party, Adams Oshiomhole to recuse himself from the primaries in Edo State because he is an interested party.
