The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has announced the disbandment of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force.

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to immediately release her aides who were reportedly detained based on the orders of the Chief Security Officer to the President, Idris Kassim.

The Federal High Court Abuja, has granted the Inspector-General of Police, (IGP), Mr Ibrahim Idris, judicial leave for a review of the order to quash the Senate’s resolution declaring him unfit to hold public office.
