Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has urged the Federal Government to declare bandits as federal civil servants since it has failed to view them as terrorists.
Sani said this on his Twitter handle while lamenting the killing of Christian and Muslim worshippers in their religious houses by bandits.
He tweeted, “They [bandits] killed Muslim worshippers in their mosques in Niger and Katsina states; they killed Christians in their Churches in Kaduna State; if the government doesn’t want to declare them terrorists, it should declare them federal civil servants.”
“Yesterday’s attacks on the Baptist Church Kakau Daji, Kaduna State by terrorists, the killing of some worshippers and the abductions of scores of others are tragic and unfortunate. The suspension of the telecoms services in the North is useless.”
