Senator representing Adamawa North, Elisha Abbo has pleaded not guilty to one count charge of assault levelled against him by the FCT Police at Zuba Magistrate Court, Abuja, Channels is reporting.
Abbo was caught on video physically assaulting a woman at an adult toy shop after she told him to “take it easy” when he raised his voice on the attendant.
Abbo subsequently apologised to Nigerians, his party, PDP, and women in general, after promising a “robust response” on the incident.
