Former Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Samson Osagie has been made Special Project Advisor of the African Bar Association
In a letter to the former legislator sighted by ionigeria.com, the President of the Association, Mr. Hannibal Uwaifor revealed that the “appointment is sequel to your nomination by the Executive Council and the subsequent approval of the Qualifications Committee which found you eminently qualified to hold the exalted position after considering your wealth of experience in Legal matters, Excellent services to the African Bar Association and your meritorious services in Public Office”.
The appointment, the letter further revealed “is for a period of 2 years and your duties includes but not limited to:
(a) Advising on topical events and projects.
(b) Taking steps to deal with AFBA Partners in actualizing events and Projects.
(c) Engaging AFBA Partners, Collaborators, Sponsors etc in bringing
proposed events, Conference etc to fruition.
(d) Advising on diverse Policies, Plans and to drive for Local and
International support in all spheres including, funding and any other
duties that may be assigned by the President or the Governing Council
