While the winner of the recently concluded Big Brother Nigeria (BBN), Miracle Igbokwe Ikechukwu got Twenty-Five Million Naira (N25,000,000) prize money, two best graduating students of Ekiti State University (EKSU) have been awarded Two Hundred Fifty Naira (N250) and Two Thousand Naira (N2000) respectively as a form of commendation for their dedication, sacrifice and hardwork.
In a letter issued to Miss Fashina Aderonke Ashabi, the best graduating student in the Faculty of Arts, EKSU, the Deputy Registrar of the institution, Dr. S.O Afolabi congratulated her and informed her that she has won the sum of N250 as a reward for her hardwork.
Similarly, the best graduating student in the Faculty of Agricultural Science in the 2016/2017 academic session of the university, Uwagwu Oluwadamilare Samuel got a reward of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) for his troubles from the faculty.
The letter reads:
“This is to inform you that you have won Prof. M.A Faluyi’s Price Award for 2016/2017 academic session, as the best graduating student in Crop Production, Faculty of Agricultural Science,
“The value of the price money is N2000.00 (Two Thousand Naira)
“Kindly laisse with the Bursary department for the cash award.
“On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, please accept our congratulations”
