President Buhari to proceed on a 10 day Medical vacation

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to proceed on a 10 day medical vacation beginning from Monday January 23 to Monday February 6, 2017.

In a letter read by the President of the Senate Dr. Bukola Saraki during plenary on Thursday, Buhari said “In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 constitution as amended, I wish to inform the Distinguished Senate that I will be away on a short medical vacation from Monday January, 23 to February 6th, 2017 and while I am away, the Vice President (Osinbajo) will perform the functions of my office.

    What a shame on a leader who still prefers to travel out of his country for medical vacation instead of developing the healthcare services and system in his country!
