The Alagbon Injection Station in Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, has been gutted by fire.

According to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), the fire started around 5.am this morning.

The fire’s implication is that customers around CMS, Adeniji-Adele and substantial parts of Lagos Island will experience power failure.

Reports say that the Station in Dolphin Estate in Lagos State exploded this morning at about 5am, engulfed by fire and that the Fire Service arrived within 5 minutes to battle  the fire.

Mr Godwin Idiemudia, Public Relations Officer of Eko Disco, said a loud bang was heard at the station in the early hours of today (Thursday).
