Contrary to reports attributed to one, Mr. Ballantyne Agiri, the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, Wednesday, restated that it was not ready for any negotiation and dialogue with the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Earlier in the day, the previously unknown Agiri, claimed in a statement, he sent to some media organisations that the Niger Delta Avengers is now willing to dialogue with the Federal Government.

As a prelude to the talks and an expression of readiness to lay down arms and embrace peace, he further stated that the NDA has raised what it calls “Contact and Dialogue Team headed by a former Director of Youth Development in the Niger Delta Development Commission.

However, the NDA in a tweet by its spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo, said: “Who is Mr. Ballantyne Agiri, the claimed dialogue group spokesman” We do not know you and please stop fooling the general public,”.
In another tweet, the NDA said, “Since Mr. Ballantyne Agiri claims to know a lot about NDA. We asking the @HQNigerianArmy, and DSS to declare him wanted
