Nigerian, Omarosa Manigault Quits Trump’s Cabinet

A Nigerian female, who is director of communications for the White House’s office of public liaison, Omarosa Manigault, has resigned her appointment.

According to report by TheCable, has put pen to paper on her decision to quit President Donald Trump’s cabinet exactly one year after he came into office.

It was further reported that Manigault who earns $180,000 per annum will leave the White House on January 20, 2018.

Omarosa, the director of African-American outreach in Trump’s campaign, joins a list of 14 cabinet members that have have left Trump’s government.

While an official statement and reason has not been given on why Omarosa resigned, the 43-year-old has been reportedly struggling to keep her job and family.

Omarosa recently married a Florida-based pastor, John Newman.

Her exit further raises the expectation of round of departures from the White House going into the New Year while the “internal war” within Trump cabinet keeps brewing.

Already, the White House said that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave her position early next year.
