The Niger Delta Avengers on Friday continued with oil installations sabotage campaign by blowing up the Nembe 1, 2, 3 and Tebedaba brass trunk-line in Bayelsa/River States.

Announcing the latest destructive feat of the militant group on its website, its spokesman, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo also said: “We still using this medium to warn the general public of impostors Facebook accounts. Niger Delta Avenger is not in Social network anymore”.
Bayelsa state Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps,NSCDC, Desmond Agu, who confirmed the incident said men of the Command on surveillance exchanged gun fire with the vandals.
Agu said: “Reports from the swamp area indicates that last night (early hours of this morning) a gang of heavily armed youths with two double 200hp speedboats used explosives to blast three different points on the Tebidaba-Brass NAOC pipeline.”
Before the Friday incidents, the NDA had on Wednesday destroyed Chevron Manifolds RMP 22, 23 and 24
“Between the hours of 10:50pm to 11:10pm our (Niger Delta Avengers) strike team blew up Chevron Manifolds. the manifolds are RMP 22, 23 and 24”.
