Tens of thousands of President Trump supporters gathered Saturday in Washington, D.C. — echoing claims of voter fraud and urging him not to concede to President-elect Joe Biden — and were rewarded by an appearance from Trump himself.
The president and his motorcade drove past the supporters, some of them waving Trump flags and holding signs saying “Stop the Fraud” and “Best Prez Ever.” The crowd chanted “Four More Years!” as Trump gave a thumbs up.
Trump stayed in his car but drove slowly past the crowd, waving at supporters. Marchgoers chanted “USA! USA!” as the president’s motorcade approached, with many chasing after him, trying to snap photos.
Many pro-Trump groups, including Stop the Steal, are participating in the march, which is expected to draw thousands of people to the District.

Supporters of far-right groups such as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers are also expected to attend rallies in the nation’s capital on Saturday.
A counter-protest dubbed “F— MAGA” by All Out DC is scheduled to occur nearby.
The pro-Trump march takes place a week after major news outlets projected that President-elect Joe Biden would win the presidency after surpassing Trump in the vote count in several key states.
Trump has not conceded and has taken legal action in several states, demanding recounts and investigations into ballot irregularities, though his team has faced several setbacks in court.
Trump later tweeted
Hundreds of thousands of people showing their support in D.C. They will not stand for a Rigged and Corrupt Election! https://t.co/tr35WKTKM8
