Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reveals she had a miscarriage in July, calls for compassion in a polarized world

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, revealed Wednesday that she had a miscarriage in July, describing the “almost unbearable pain” that comes with losing a child in an opinion piece for the New York Times in which she urges people to “commit to asking others, ‘Are you OK?”.

In an article for The New York Times, Meghan wrote: “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
