Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus have tested positive for coronavirus, Manchester City have confirmed.
Two members of staff have also tested positive, the club said in a statement.
“All four personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK government protocol on quarantine,” said the Premier League side.
“Everyone at the club wishes our colleagues a speedy recovery over the Christmas period ahead of their return to work, training and competition.”
The England and Brazil internationals will now have to self-isolate instead of playing against Newcastle in Man City’s Boxing Day Premier League game.
They both featured in the side’s 4-1 win against Arsenal on Tuesday.
The club did not say if the players or staff are suffering any symptoms.
