Nigerian Government on Monday extended the gradual easing of the lockdown by another two weeks.
The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 Chairman, Boss Mustapha, announced this during the briefing of the members of the task force in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Based on the development, the imposed nationwide curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. shall remain in place. Also, schools, places of worship and business centres will remain close. The ban on interstate travel will also be in place for the next weeks.
The relaxation of the lockdown will last till June while the total lockdown in Kano State is extended by two weeks.
