Supporters of the first woman and first African to become head of the World Trade Organization (WTO) are paying tribute to her achievements by… dressing up as her.
Businesswoman Temie Giwa-Tubosun has pledged 100,000 naira ($262; £189) to the “best-dressed” impersonator of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Ms Giwa-Tubosun tweeted the message along with a tongue-in-cheek video of herself talking in character, extolling the importance of the economy and jobs.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s tomorrow! #NoiGoesToWTO! We are giving away N100k to the best dressed! Dress up like NOI and send her a message of support as she goes to WTO! #AnkaraArmy stand up!!!! pic.twitter.com/iT3LNB0Aa0
