Rev. Silas Yakubu Ali of the Evangelical Church of Winning All Church (ECWA), Kibori-Asha Wuce in Zango-Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been murdered.
The late reverend had departed for Kafanchan on Saturday but was not seen until a search party found his corpse at Kibori community, near Asha-Awuce, on Sunday morning.
Confirming the tragic incident, Kaduna Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said security operatives were on the trail of the attackers.
“The Governor urged security agencies to intensify efforts towards apprehending the perpetrators of the heinous killing while appealing to members of the community to maintain calm. Security agencies are conducting investigations in the general area.”
