Edo College Old Boys Association (ECOBA) Lagos branch will hold its annual dinner and award night on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja.
The ECOBA Lagos Annual dinner is a platform for re-union of former students of the oldest secondary grammar school in Mid-Western Region and their family members.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of ECOBA Lagos branch, Mr. Aigbe Olotu the occasion which has been scheduled to kick-off at exactly 4pm prompt will feature award presentations, lecture, networking and different forms of entertainment.
He also disclosed that, Dr. John Isemede an International trade expert will be in attendance to present a lecture on investment and international trade while awards will be presented to deserving old boys in recognition of their contributions and commitment to the country and towards the growth and development of the association.
According to him, Retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Archbishop Chris Omeben will be presented with the ECOBA Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Desmond Guobadia will receive the Distinguished Old Boy of the Year award while Old Boy of the Year award will be presented to Mr. Jude Eluemunor.
He revealed that, the goal of the annual dinner event is to strengthen the bond between the former students and strategize on how to contribute towards the growth of Edo College Benin City, for the benefit of current students and the society at large.
