According to TVi24, the first giving Ronaldo just 15 days to demolish the glass gazebo structure, restoring it to its previous state.

Or Ronaldo must submit a legalisation process to the Lisbon City Council, which could extend the deadline by 30 days.

If the football superstar opts for legalisation, the situation will not be resolved immediately a Lisbon City Council source told TVi24.

The report also states that disgruntled architect of the building, Jose Mateus, assisted with the inspection of the glass gazebo.

Mateus stated at the time of the inspection: “He bought an apartment in the Castilho 203 building, whose architecture was designed by ARX, a studio that I founded with my brother Nuno in 1991 and which bases his work, like CR7, on extreme dedication, very high levels of demand, very hard daily work.

“Watching the ignoble disrespect and defilement of our work, of our architecture, without the cumulative consent of architects, neighbours and without a project approved by the CML, building in the beautiful ‘old way’ a marquee on the crown of the building, is something which I’m not going to watch stopped.

Mateus has also previously stated that he has a lot of respect for Portugal legend Ronaldo because of the row over the glass gazebo.

Mateus raged: “The admiration and respect I had for Cristiano Ronaldo, an excellent and inspirational athlete and an example for all that that I highlighted many times to my children and pupils, has been shattered.”
