Beyonce’s New Orleans mansion goes up in flames

A $2.4 million historic New Orleans mansion reportedly owned by Beyoncé caught fire Wednesday night — and the blaze is now under investigation as a “simple arson.”

It is understood that the fire began at the historic property on Wednesday at around 6:15 pm and that 22 firefighters responded to the scene and the flames were put out at 7 pm.

“If they didn’t get there when they did, it could have been much worse. It’s a historic home,” a fire department spokesperson told the New York Post.

The cause of the blaze has not been determined and the extent of the damage to the three-story property, according to the outlet.

Thankfully no one was injured following the horror blaze.

The stunning home has been owned by a management company, named Sugarcane Park LLC, since 2015.

It has six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, and spans 15,200 square feet. claims that the eye-catching property was first built in 1927 as the Westminster Presbyterian church.

The hitmaker has had a tough time of late.

In March, she lost more than $1million worth of valuables following a raid at her storage units, reports claimed.

According to TMZ, the singer’s lockups in Los Angeles were hit twice by thieves with culprits making off with designer dresses and handbags.

The US site claimed that the storage units are rented out by Bey’s production company Parkwood Entertainment, but the stolen items all belong to the Lemonade hitmaker.

Sources told the publication that burglars returned within a week and broke into three storage units in the same facility.

The thieves are said to have made off with handbags, kids’ toys and photos belonging to Beyoncé’s stylist.

At the time Law enforcement officers told TMZ that LAPD were investigating.
